Tram 5 to Anděl

The simplest public transport option is tram 5. It runs from Nádraží Holešovice via Vltavská, Těšnov, Masarykovo nádraží, Václavské náměstí and Jiráskovo náměstí all the way to Anděl, with no change; at Vltavská you board one stop later.

Metro C and A to Vinohrady

For Vinohrady (Vinohradská 1107/45), take metro C from Holešovice to Muzeum, three stops from Vltavská. There, change to metro A for one stop to Náměstí Míru, or take tram 11 or 13 two stops via Italská to Vinohradská tržnice, about 2 minutes from the branch. The branch has four rooms, each with its own shower, and two entrances to the building. It is about 320 metres from the Apollo Theatre and close to the Svatopluk Čech gardens.

Letná lies between two metro lines. From its eastern part, Vltavská (C) is closer; from the western part, Hradčanská (A), from where you ride without changing to Náměstí Míru and then walk a few minutes to Vinohrady.

Tram 6 to Vršovice

Tram 6 runs directly from Nádraží Holešovice to Vršovice. It passes Výstaviště, where you can also board coming from Stromovka, and the Trade Fair Palace, then continues via Náměstí Republiky, Václavské náměstí, I. P. Pavlova, Nuselské schody and Nádraží Vršovice to the Koh-i-noor stop, about a minute from White Rabbit Vršovice at Vršovická 1462/66. The ride takes about 33 minutes, but there is no change. Vršovice has five rooms and an entrance on the raised ground floor above the Penny Market.

By car, Troja and hotels

By car, Vinohrady is the quickest from Holešovice, about 7 minutes from Nádraží Holešovice without traffic. Parking there is on the street in the paid zone. Near Anděl, park at the Anděl City car park (4 minutes on foot) or the Nový Smíchov shopping centre (6 minutes); in Vršovice at the Vlasta car park (3 minutes) or the Eden shopping centre (5 minutes).

From Troja and the zoo, the nearest metro is Nádraží Holešovice, about 2.6 km in a straight line, so the trip to a salon is longer from there. There are several hotels in Holešovice.
